Аналіз літератури, який проведено в першому розділі дисертації, показує, що одним із найбільш актуальних аспектів забезпечення безпеки судноводіння являється попередження зіткнень суден в стислих водах, для вирішення якого необхідна розробка нових методів визначення безпечних маневрів розходження суден при їх небезпечному зближенню. Характерною особливістю плавання суден в стислих водах являється виникнення ситуацій небезпечного зближення декількох суден, в яких часто неможливе виконання вимог МППЗС-72 і з'являється загроза зіткнення, що обумовлює необхідність розробки нових методів вибору безпечного маневру розходження = The analysis of literature, which is conducted in the first section of dissertation, shows that one of the most actual aspects of providing of safety of navigationis warning of collisions of ships in the compressed waters, for the decision of
which necessary development of new methods of determination of safe maneuversof divergence of ships at their dangerous to rapprochement. In the compressed waters the origin of situations of dangerous rapprochement of a few ships is the characteristic feature of sailing of ships, in which often impossible implementation of the COLREG requirements and the threat of collision appears, that stipulates the necessity of development of new methods of choice of safe maneuver of divergence
